Motherhood is deeply meaningful, but it can also be mentally and emotionally demanding in ways that aren’t talked about enough. Many mothers carry stress, overwhelm, and pressure quietly, especially in a world where social media often presents a polished, unrealistic version of motherhood. This can make it harder to acknowledge struggles or reach out for support.

This event was created to hold space for real conversations, movement, and connection, centering mothers’ mental health in an honest and supportive way.

Who is this event for?

This event is specially designed for mothers—no matter the age of your child or children, if you’re a mother, you’re warmly welcome to join us.

This event is designed for mothers, so please kindly note that it isn’t tailored for those who are currently pregnant.

Event Structure:

  • 14:00- 14:20 Check In with Tea Ease into your moment with a warm cup of tea, a few moments to relax, and the chance to connect with other amazing moms before the speaker begins.

  • 14:30–15:00 – Let’s Talk About Mothers’ Mental Health

    We are honoured to welcome Dr. Bolt as a speaker at our event, where she will highlight the importance of bringing greater awareness to mothers’ mental health — a topic that is still not spoken about enough and is often surrounded by stigma. During her talk, she will also share insights on how and where mothers can seek support when they need it.

    Dr. phil. Olivia Bolt is a psychotherapist based in Zurich, with a strong focus on supporting women and mothers through the emotional challenges that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and different stages of motherhood. Her work centres on helping individuals and families navigate mental health concerns with care and compassion.

  • 15:00–16:00 Strength training

    Strength training for mothers, guided by Ramona Mathis — a mother of a 5 year old son and certified pre- and postnatal fitness trainer and yoga teacher with a focus on pelvic floor health, and the founder of Movement Studio Soma and MAMA KLUB.

    This workout will focus on core strength, stability, and building a strong foundation.

    All levels welcome!

  • 16:00–16:30 In the Flow of Breath

    After the strength training, join Brunna — a mother of two little girls, 3 and 5 and holistic health coach, breathwork facilitator and the founder of BE FLOWS and MOMent, for a 30-minute breathwork session designed to release tension, process emotions, and support gentle nervous system regulation, specially created for mothers.

  • 16:30–17:40 – Community Connection Time

    A special time to connect, share, and feel supported by other amazing moms. Enjoy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, and take home a thoughtfully curated goodie bag to remember your moment (CHF 95+ value).

All equipment will be provided at Movement Studio Soma

What to bring:

  • Yoga/Workout towel

Facility Information:

Please be advised that there is only one shower available at the studio. If you plan to use the shower, please kindly bring your own towel.
